Description

We will visit the Blue Hills Reservation, the largest conserved tract in the greater Boston area, preserved (mostly) for over 100 years.

We'll look near the northern Border Path, the area with greatest pteridophyte biodiversity, and the eastern end of Ponkapoag Pond.

We will see more than a third of the fern species native to Massachusetts, a few hybrids, several club-mosses, and a horsetail.

Comments
